Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By using StimuStop, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.

2. Description of service

StimuStop is an application for personal tracking of addiction recovery, available on the web and as an iPhone app. The core features (counter, milestones, journal, savings, community) are free. It is a motivational and progress-tracking tool, not a medical device or therapeutic service.

3. Account and security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and for all activity conducted under your account. By registering, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old.

4. User content and community conduct

You are responsible for content you submit to the application (journal entries, notes, public community posts). There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users — you agree not to submit content that is unlawful, offensive, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, deceptive, or that infringes third-party rights.

The app provides tools to report content and block users. We review reports and remove violating content or accounts, typically within 24 hours. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4a. Premium

The iPhone app offers optional StimuStop Premium as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Premium unlocks an unlimited number of habits running at once (two are free), starting private conversations with other community members, and CSV export of your journal. Replying to messages is free for everyone. The price and billing period are shown in the app before you confirm the purchase.

Payment is processed by Apple through your Apple account. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel any time in your Apple account settings (Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions). Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; after canceling, Premium stays active until the end of the paid period. The lifetime purchase does not renew and remains valid for as long as the service exists.

5. Service availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue the service at any time.

6. Disclaimer of liability

The application is provided "as is". We do not accept responsibility for health decisions made based on data in the application. If you are experiencing a serious crisis or withdrawal symptoms, please consult a doctor or a crisis helpline.

7. Governing law

These terms and any relationship between you and the operator are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
