About
About StimuStop
A tool that turns quitting into visible, measurable progress — no ads, no paywalls, no shame.
What StimuStop does
StimuStop is a free web and mobile app for tracking addiction recovery. It counts your streak in real time, shows science-backed recovery milestones, calculates the money you save, and lets you keep a journal for each habit. You can track several addictions at once — from smoking and alcohol to sugar, social media or gambling.
Who is behind it
StimuStop is built and run as a personal project by Alexandr Rešetňak (Czech Republic) — the developer who also acts as the app's data controller. It is not a company or an investor-driven startup: the goal is a useful, private tool, not monetising your addiction. You can reach us any time at support@stimustop.com or via resetnak.cz.
Our approach
We work from a single principle: progress, not perfection. A relapse is not failure — it is data. StimuStop lets you log the setback, note the trigger, learn from it, and carry on without losing your milestone history or attempt count. No public shame leaderboards, no noisy extra notifications.
How we build the milestones
The health milestones (what happens in your body after 24 hours, 3 days, a month or a year) are not made up. They are grounded in public health authorities — NHS, CDC, the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society. You can see the full, linked list on our Sources & Methodology page.
StimuStop is a motivational and educational tool, not a substitute for professional medical care. For severe withdrawal symptoms (especially with alcohol), always consult a doctor.
Privacy first
